100 cookie recipe – cheese, butter and flour
Equipment
- Xiaomi cooking robot
- Scraper
- Food foil
- Smart oven
- Baking tray and paper
Ingredients
- 100 g cheese any simple type will work – ricotta, mascarpone or classical cheese
- 100 g butter salted or unsalted
- 100 g white flour
- 1 piece egg
- few seeds optional
Instructions
- Add in the pot the cheese, butter and the white flour and use the Dough function (it will be automatically set to 5 minutes)100 g cheese, 100 g butter, 100 g white flour
- Move the mix into food foil and put it in the fridge for about one hour
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 0.5cm thickness. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters or a knife
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C and put the shapes on a tray lined with baking paper
- Brush the cookies with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or other desired toppings suitable for salted snacks1 piece egg, few seeds
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
Notes
Tip
- For a chewier cookie, bake for 20-22 minutes. For a crispier cookie, bake for 25-28 minutes.
- You can also roll out the dough and cut it into squares or rectangles.
- Get creative with the toppings! Try chopped nuts, peanuts.
